It's my first ever finished lyrics. You don't have to be gentle! I was just inspired by some "rock n roll police".

We are the damned, banned strictly
The good, the bad and the ugly
Hated for bringing the truth
The strange generation, bored youth

Learn to play - all three chords
Do it for money - for good cause
It's not funny - what a joke
It's business - Not rock n roll
No booze - No fun at all
No mistakes - no fun at all
No attitude - no fun at all
It's all the same - no fun at all

We're out of tune, off beat
No dancing, take a seat
We're faster and we're louder
Just monkeys charged by the hour

It takes years to learn this skill
This incredible solo and that fill
I just don't have the time
Just with the attitude i'm doing fine

Learn to play - all three chords
Do it for money - for good cause
It's not funny - what a joke
It's business - Not rock n roll
No booze - No fun at all
No mistakes - no fun at all
No attitude - no fun at all
It's all the same - no fun at all
Metallica sucks!

this is amazingly cliched. if you were trying to make a sarcastically generic/cliche rock song (the same thing Tenacious D does with metal) then you succeeded. other than that, i wouldnt say you succeeded at all (sorry for being a bit harsh)

also i hate your signature. Metallica rules!

Although Kicker's response was slightly tough, he raises a good point. This is as cliche and generic as you can go, but if that was the idea then alright. One thing you did that I would have liked if not for your choice of words, was the repetition. "Not fun at all"? I would really reconsider your wording there, but if your really set on that then at least change "Not" to "no".

Thats really all I can say, sorry I can't be more help.

Yeah, it's just the rhyme scheme is very cliche and overall not very, well exciting I suppose. However I liked the lines "Learn to play - all three chords Do it for money - for good cause"

If you can grab more stuff like this out of your head, you'd be good to go.
