I'll say right now that before this time I was almost a pure metalhead. I listened to about 90 percent metal and 10 percent other mixed music styles. But I recently decided I was gonna go listen to something different, so I tried out blues guitarist Johnny Winter. Wow! I can't believe what I've been missing out on for so long. Johnny Winter has to be one of the greatest musicians I've ever heard!

Can anyone recommend other guitar players like him? I'm dying for more blues guitar solos

If you're into like psychedelic blues I'd recommend The Doors. Look into their LA Woman album it's really bluesy and a really good listen.

You might want to look into the Grateful Dead too. Not quite blues but a lot of songs are similar.

Yamaha RG guitar w/ Floyd Rose
Rogue Acoustic

Do you have a fucking HIM avatar? Duuuude.... You need to spend a couple of years listening to every and any piece of music you can get your hands on so you can start discerning good from bad.
O what a disgrace if such a despised and base race, which worships demons, should conquer a people which has the faith of omnipotent God and is made glorious with the name of Christ!

Johnny Winter's on of my favorites.

Alan Haynes is pretty good, kind of a srv rip-off, but he was kind of a johnny winter rip-off to begin with.
