Can anyone tell me the Amp settings for Metalcore AND Nu-Metal?

I got a Line 6 Spider III and a Ibanez GIO, if that matters...

Oh, and I didn't know where to post it (Because I'm new, lol), so move it to the correct direction if I posted it in the wrong category.
Gain 8
treble-7, Mid-6, Bass-7

something like that?

Im sorry, I just don't see how you could argue that hardcore isn't metal. That just seems arrogant to me.

Yes, its its own kind of metal, but its still metal.

Insane setting?

Already tried, but it doesnt sound like Nu-Metal or metalcore
Your amp will not pull off a good metalcore tone. Line 6 Spider's are terrible amps.

Get a new amp, and if you aren't going to get a new amp, try this:

I'm not going to buy a new amp, I just play for 5 months.

But what would be a good amp then?
Metalcore 4 Life

If you want to know: Line 6 Spider III 13 (AMP), Ibanez GIO (GUITAR)

And I'm playing guitar for 4/5 months (Without lessons)

You just lost 5 seconds of your life by reading this....

Bogner Ubershall
Peavey 5150/6505

and on and on......

Check out the Gear for Metal Tab, it has amps and prices and, as Clevelane would say, "Its got eererthing you need!"

1981 Gibson Les Paul Custom (Black Beauty)
1980 Marshall JMP 2204
if ur after that new metal sound try the metal setting not the insane setting drop the drive down a little bit say just past half way maby a little more, put the bass up a fair bit like 7 or 8 put the mids up about tht high to, put the treble down to about halfway and u should get a nice chunky nu metal tone. other than that most of the killswitch engage settings on the spider 3 are pretty good and the as i lay dying ones are good to lol. oh funeral for a friend and slipknot ones arnt bad either lol
