I finally got the chance to play a Mesa Boogie Mark V combo today. My local GC hasn't been able to stock them because of all the preorders, and frankly, an amp has never had a more positive impression on me. It was beautiful. Great metal and punk tones, with absolutely beautiful cleans. I start a new job soon, and I'll be able to buy it soon after. Does anyone else have any experience with them? Am I in for a speaker going out or knobs falling off or anything?
Send this to you my master...
Here's to getting worse,
hope it kills you faster...
Show me how it hurts to rot from the inside out...
This vigil burns until the day our fires over take you,
Our father we forsake you.
While I don't have any experience with the Mark V, I do know that Mesa/Boogie has a pretty solid record of quality. I seriously doubt that you will blow a speaker or have knobs fall off of the amp.
