So, recently Ive developed a bad habit when palm muting, and im hoping someone could maybe come up with some good tips?

When i fast palm mute the low e string (lamb of god style) I will accidentally ring the string when i let off the palm mute. I am pulling my palm off the string too fast i guess, that it causes it to ring? i dont know but it sounds really muddy and fuzzy due to to string ringing out. anyone know of this problem?

Mute the strings with your left hand before you remove your picking hand?

You are obviously rubbing the string as you take your hand off.
Try to make it as clean as possible (practice slowly!)
