8-strings can't just be used for djent.

New song from my upcoming album, called "Together". This one actually has singing
it's on my profile, recorded with TonePort UX1, agile 8-string and DFH.

crit for crit as always. I think the vocals aren't quite good enough yet, but for some reason my mic keeps on crapping out on me.
Need moneyz for mic.

goes from minimalistic ballad to funk to full throttle rock.

EDIT: sorry, it's on my band's profile (see sig)

UPDATE
: New mix is up! Better and clearer than before

Lol, found it. It sounds great, I'm likeing this alot. The singing isent bad, not bad at all. The guitar in the intro sounds great, and the chours was very up beat, even though you only went through the chours once, I would try to work the chours in there at least twice since the chours was the most impactful part of the song, at least for me it was. The chours was one of those kinds of chours that you hear that just sounds so cool and is structured so well it gives you chills down your back. Also, the drums might need to come up in the mix, it was hard to hear them.

I think I like this song the best out of them all, since the lyrics gave a better insight into what your trying to get across to us. Great job.

I really liked it. The first part was really atmospheric, and the second part was really energized. Very well done, and keep up the good work.

I like the atmospheric feel of the song. The progression to the more rockish part was great.

My only critics would be, maybe make the second voice a bit less heard, and up the drums a bit. to make it a bit more powerful overall, especially in the second part. Or keep it low as you did, and slowly up it towards the rockish part to make it more powerful.

I don't know man the atmospheric/ new wavey sound is really good ..... The ending really makes me love this song ... but the bass lines before it picks up kind of throws everything off a bit .... like the bass is telling me of one thing .. while the guitar and vocals is saying something else
.
.
As far as changes personally I would make the drums harder/ not louder but harder so you could really feel it .. and the bend that leads into the distorted guitar make it sustain a bit more to build up that tension

The lead guitar for the ending/chorus need to be a bit louder and if either you or someone else could do some of the harmonies in the range of the lead it'll really pick things up

. Kind of reminds me of Fort Minor

Cool song here bro. Like the riffs and guitar parts, I like all the layers and stuff with the clean guitar and distortion guitars. Bass is good too. The vocals are pretty good, they remind me of Chris Cornell oddly. Not really special to me, it's not really my kind of music I guess, but I liked it. Good job.

I feel I'm kinda falling in the cracks with my music, tbh. To heavy and weird for pop/normal rock listeners, not heavy or dark enough for the normal metal listeners.
I'm really concerned about that, and have decided to write a couple of tracks I hadn't planned before, that may not perfectly fit into the canon of the story of the record, but that will be more normal metal (see for instance the demo of "Twisted" on the band's profile)

You should write music for yourself and not for others.

Crit:

Sounds pretty cool. I like the vocals alot (maybe have some more important back up vocals?).

The drums are really well integrated and the riff is very catchy. The singing is sometimes not clear enough (mumbling), other than that it's great. I like how it starts slow and clean and progresses into a cool rock riff.

Very nice song, has loads of potential!

Im just gunna go ahead and agree with Lambofgod40's "sexy" sentiment, the tones were amazing, and its hard to believe you got all this from just a TonePort. Excellent work!

Crit mine if you feel like it:
