im seriously GASing for a bass with 2 jazz pick ups. ive looked at the fenders and like some of them but the $800USD price tag is a little too steep. any suggestions for an alternative bass with 2 jazz pick ups?

2nd hand Fender MIA, Fender MIM, 2nd hand, Squier Deluxe/VM/CV, Squier, 2nd hand Squier. In order of descending budget. Id look for 2nd hand MIMs.
Attendez la creme!

Peavey Millenium BXP is supposed to be pretty good, and around $250

The 5-string Millennium is a pretty nice bass, I'm just not a huge fan of the factory strings that I've been too lazy to change. Just beware of the crappy pots

A MIM Fender is a good choice. Can prolly scoop up a used one for 300-350 bucks.

A Vintage Modified or Classic Vibe Squier isn't a bad choice either.
