So I just finished watching 1408, which wasnt quite as good as I remember it being in theaters.

I like the story though, and how it tries to make it so (like the character) you cant tell the difference between reality and imagination. So it seems like you are slowly losing your mind with him.

Does the pit know of any movies that have this concept and really f*ck with your mind that are better than 1408?

1408 was lacklustre IMO. Not scary at all...

Apart from that, I think The Village confused a lot of people. Myself included.

Seriously? I got it just fine?
M. Night Shyamalan was involved with September 11 though.

I wouldn't call that a mindf*ck movie. Just ultimately beautiful and incredible. Truly one of the best of the decade. <3

That it is.

Basically, a retard scared a bunch of people by killing people and made them hide away in what appears to be an Indian reserve. And a blind girl finds her way out.

That's basically it.

This, if by 'mind****" you mean "built up to an awesome climax then half-assedly explained the seemingly impossible events with contrived pseudoscientific bollocks".

Dali exhibit?!
That's as awesome, if not even more awesome, than the Andy Warhol exhibit I went to in Toronto.
Now THAT guy had some f*cked up videos as well, but no competition to Dali's.

Another great movie. =]

A movie that's normal until the end is Audition.
Seriously. Rent it and tell your girlfriend its a cute Japanese love story. There's a part in the middle that will leave a clue so try to get her to go take a bathroom break or something and fast forward. Then let her enjoy the most messed up ending to any romantic movie ever. And yes, there will be blood.

When World War II started he (Dali) publicly declared he found Hitler 'sexually arousing'.

The Wall mind****ed me a bit when I was 12 or so.

Ahaha that's Dali for you.

Warhol had some REALLY creepy photographs. His car accident one that was printed onto three different coloured backdrops? Yeah it was full of dead people and sh*t. That one was a bit strange even for me.

That didn't get good ratings, but from personal experience, I say watch this movie. It is actually really good and I don't like Statham. It's very philosophical. I used the chess sequence (not a spoiler jsyk) for one of my projects.

Thread is now about Salvador Dali.

Apparently he made a film inspired by the stains on a pen he'd been urinating on. That would probably be a mindfuck film.
