Heya..So I already have 2 guitars..1 is a broken Ibanez RG 170 DX..and the other is a JS 1000..the thing is I wanna have a working mid-range guitar with a fixed bridge..so I can tune easier in other tunings..what guitar do you recommend?
If you have a higher range one..I`ll still accept recommendations=)

I have a few ideas here...http://www.ibanez.co.jp/products/images/eg2009/RGA42_BK_1P_01.gif

Ibanez RGA42:379 €

Ibanez RGT6EXFX:380 €

http://www.essemusic.it/Dettaglio_Articolo.aspx?ID=8783

Carvin DC: 700 €

Schecter Hellraiser C-1: price depends..
The last one is the one I really want, but its gonna cost too much I`m affraid..cause they`ll have to import it like 1K € maybe..

Go with the RGT, Ibanez are amazing mid-range, I have one! I should know!
A previous guitarist of mine had an RGT and it was the balls. Matte green it was, it pwnd.

Also, try Parker. They're oh so versatile, don't be put off by the price! They really are worth it!
Time is a great teacher. Unfortunatly, it kills all of its pupils.

ESP/LTD make some quality guitars in that price range with or without a fixed bridge. Again it depends on your taste in guitars as you seem to like Ibanez but go test some ESP or highend LTD models. I dont think you'll be dissapointed. Good luck!

Thx to both..I`ll check some ESP/LTD`s out..=)
I`ll post with more ideas=)

T C Ellis Mantis and select what pickups you want. Price should be bottom end of mid range but the finish and playability is way higher.
I pick up my guitar and play

Ooh, I forgot, Agile guitars! rondomusic dot com.

They're insane for the price. Genuinely good guitars. Especially the 7 strings.

The Carvin. Without a doubt the best guitar out of those options. Not being a snob here, but those Ibanez are still, you know, imports.

It pisses me off when people ask for help then don`t reply or finish the thread when they buy the thing they need..Even if sometimes I do it too

So I`ve decided to go for the Ibanez RGA42BK, and if anyone still cares I`ll post some pics today or tomorrow=)
Cheers!

The Carvin is totally not a mid range guitar.

EDIT:

How is the Ibanez? Did you already receive it?

Get a cheap(er) guitar and upgrade it. It is working beautifully for my Squier Tele Thinline, Great tone and a great player too since I replaced the tuners, bridge and nut. Just make sure you get a guitar that has potential before you upgrade it, A guitar like a Squier Affinity Strat may not be worth upgrading.
Always tin your strings.

Don't be afraid to be honest.
