What do you guys think of Vader cabs? I would like to pick up a 2x12 from them, but i wanted your opinion on them first.

I've heard nothing but great things about them. Personally I went with Avatar, but I've heard very similar reviews of both.

I've heard nothing but good things as well. Have you played on a Vader? Just curious.

the vader I saw in person had very solid build quality. also sounded quite good(however its hard to say without benchmarking)

seems like a pretty average cab though, and if you live north of the us border its pretty pricey for what it is. try saxon or lopo

get a cheap marshall... my MG15DFX has a button that simulates the sound of one of the expensive tube marshall amps.

I just made a thread about a Redstar 212. Vader seemed expensive.

EDIT: To the Avatar guy, is less extreme.. Totally different from a Vader.

Alright, thanks. I'll check out those saxon and lopo cabs too.

A few blues players supposedly use Vader cabs actually.. I have no idea if their tone is any good though

I own a Saxon Premium 4x12 and it is amazing for all genres, but it especially takes heavier music much more.
