To me, Jonas Brothers sound identical to Dragonforce. So I'm not sure what you've just proved.

Mudvayne - (K)now (F)orever - all of LD 50 is drop B.

Stone Sour's first album is drop B.

If I'm not mistaken, Soilwork is drop B as well.

Machine Head's "The Blackening" album is all drop B except some covers.. I recommend starting with Now I Lay Thee Down as it is less solo heavy than the rest of the tunes

i heard TDWP is like some kind of seven string tuning that is basically drop D with the extra string (drop A?) so people tab it as drop D

also, a bunch of Breaking Benjamin songs are drop B from Phobia

haha nah man. that might be how they did it on Danger:Wildman because the lead line, for the short time it plays, is down in what sounds like b but could be a, but the rest of there stuff is straight drop d. dont know who told you that but they dont know what theyre talking about

Disarmonia Mundi - Mind Tricks album is sick and Drop-B

Most Alter Bridge except everything besides the b is down half a step. But Mark Tremonti uses several differnt tunings on both albums.

Breaking Benjamin use drop C and drop A# (and drop C# on Saturate).

Chevelle use drop B for most of their stuff.

can you confirm at least that soilworks most recent stuff is B standard? peter wichers plays on Warrel Dane's solo album from 2008 and off the top of my head, some/most of the songs sound like they are in C. im just wondering if mr. wichers typically uses standard or drop (CGCFAD) tunings. i ask because im trying to learn some songs off of the CD but id like to know if im on the right track by assuming they are drop C.

some songs off of stabbing the drama sound like drop B but im not sure. and i think wichers wasnt with the band at that time?

and im stoked you mentioned the disarmonia mundi album! its amazing!! i dont know how to describe the sound. its so... smooth...?

and pretty much, everything else has been said.
