In many cases now and days... Metal had seemed to associate it's self with being tough and macho (hence cartoon Jack Black on the front page)... Why? Most of these guys can't bench 50 pounds...

You question (is there one?).

It makes no sense.

So what? I wasted like 5 minutes watching DaddyTwoFoot's avatar.

Metalheads are the worst thing that ever happened to metal.

Because you generalize?
Most of the important things

in the world have been accomplished

by people who have kept on

trying when there seemed to be no hope at all

Tough, macho sounding music= tough, macho looking image.

Not that I agree with it, but oi= it's pretty simple reasoning.

I can guarantee most could easily bench 50 pounds. That is practically nothing.

Thats the bar. If you can't bench 50 lbs then you must have a muscle problem... Or you listen to Fall Out Boy.

Actually, you have to bench 80 pounds before you can be allowed into metal. It's in the rule book.

no no, 80 lbs is the cut off point for Jazz. metal takes 90. blues takes 110. country music takes a solid 150
