What effects/pedals, are a must? I'm thinking something for Neoclassical guitar, or something slower like RHCP. Any suggestions? I play decently fast, but it just doesn't sound as cool as it could.

sound fast? i dont think effects can make your guitar sound fast, unless you paint your guitar red because red guitars are faster than blue guitars

You can't buy practice. A pedal won't make you any "faster."

What amp are you using?
According to your profile, you have line 6 spider, this might be your problem

I'm talking about like a delay effect.

maybe a tremolo pedal then? its not delay but it might do the trick

Use a delay pedal to make it sound like you're picking a note twice when you're only playing it once

I mean, let's be honest; songs like Can't Stop (by the red hot chili peppers) just aren't that fast, but they sound fast, and cool. That's what I'm talking about. =D

You need a reverse delay pedal, it plays the notes and then you repeat them, so it will improve your speed.

That's how the whole song is arranged, is not just the guitar, and not just a pedal

thats called technique. technique does not come in a pedal, unfortunately. if you mean the crisp-ness of froosh's tone, that is more of an amp/guitar issue.

IIRC he used to play some kind of lead in "daddy brother lover little boy" with those... when he was in Mr Big. well, they just released a dvd with a live concert at the Budokan to celebrate their reunion!

Billy Sheehan too uses a drill in that part! go check it on youtube, you won't regret it! They're so... badass!

EDIT: sorry... OT. but I don't think it's a matter of pedals, TS.
