It'd be badass if the pool was empty and you played in there.

Well maybe not badass... but cool none the less.

Looks like you have the right idea. Bass/vox in front of drums, Guitars either side which is how you should rehearse anyway as most gigs will expect you that way. Depending on your style and space available you can move around a good bit but whanging the singer's ear with your guitar is not usually appreciated (by the singer)
No matter how bad it goes, DO NOT JUMP into the pool. If its full you'll ruin your gear and if its empty, all that blood........
I pick up my guitar and play

Best advice I can give is don't fall in!
But other than that it seems that you guys have the right idea.
Drums in back, guitars on the sides of the singer, singer in the front.
That's how we always do it anyway.
Good luck!

Buy some really thick plexi glass and put it over the pool. Play on top of the water!!
Your opinion is just that, YOUR opinion. It doesn't make you right. It doesn't make you better. It doesn't make you god. Everyone has their own view and that view is neither right or wrong.

Ignorance destroys music.

If you are anywhere near the pool you need to seriously think about electrical safety.

Go to the columns and read "this article may save your life". Better still; print it off and give it to your mates dad.

Have fun, keep safe.
