For £30 or £40 more i could one that comes with 2 hybrid inputs but instead of pro-tools it comes with ableton lite 5. Does this have built in amp models and such? and can you download more from other people?

Most importantly should i get this if i can? Cause that way i could put two mics around an, amp or acoustic guitar if i wanted to.

Which one do you have, the standard or the pro?

And what do you think of it?
Im not too bothered about windows 7 atm.

i have the fast track ultra, and before that i had the regular fast track - very simple easy to use, good quality interfaces all around, you should definitely get it - i'm not a fan of protools, but for free i think i'd take some time and learn how to use it

I considered the fast track when I was shopping, but reading the reviews on amazon put me off. Seems like it's about even odds whether it's decent or a complete crock.

I had one for about a week - got rid of it - I vote CROCK.
Now running an Eleven Rack with Pro Tools 10.3.3 - it's amazing and I'm having ball with it - worth every penny. PT 10 is tops IMO and the Eleven Rack is a work of art!
