i was looking on musiciansfriend and i noticed that the martin 000-15 was listed as a new product and i thought that was weird since its been around for a while so i clicked on it. when i clicked on it i noticed it said it features genuine mahogany and it used to be listed as genuine mahogany or sapele.

does anyone know if they changed back the wood to strictly genuine mahogany? i'm just wondering because i wanted to buy this guitar but i would much rather have the genuine mahogany over sapele.

And that's why drugs are bad for you kids.

Anyways, Martin switched the 15 series to Sapele a few years back. I'm guessing, though I cannot validate this statement, that they have returned to all mahogany construction again.

Gear:
Partscaster/Tele into a bunch of pedals, a Maz 18 head, and a Z Best cab.

^ yeah i know they were switched to sapele for a while which is why i was looking for a used one. but if i could get a new mahogany one i'd rather do that.
