I dont clean mine with anything.... Just the occasional wipe with a dry cloth when i change the strings. New to FR's, eh? the first string change will be the worst experience you've ever had to date with a guitar.

i wouldn't recommend taking it apart to clean it. wiping it down with a regular polishing cloth should be good enough. the only time you would really need to remove it would be if the knife edges got dull. and at that point you'd most likely be replacing it, not just cleaning it.

and this, to an extent. unless you have somebody explain it to you or show you first, and you pay close attention. my first string change wasn't TOO bad.

Read the Floyd setup sticky, and for the love of god don't take it apart.

I use little brushes to clean out all the dead skin that gets into everything. Just get a small brush with soft brissels so you don't scratch anything.

DO NOT TAKE APART YOUR FLOYDE.

My RG is 16 years old and I've never removed the bridge, nor felt remotely compelled to do so

the first string change won't be that bad :p
I actually loved mine, I just checked out a general set up guide on youtube (chose the one with the guy that doesn't look like a douche) and followed it, I feel happy about donig it this way, it took me trough restringing, tuning, adjusting the spring tention, fixing intonation and thruss rod adjustment....

I like to know how stuff works XD

don`t remove the bridge or pull it apart, you`ll be asking for trouble, best thing i used for cleaning it was compressed air, you can actually by it in a aerosol, and you aint going to harm anything on the guitar(just don`t spray it on you or you could be in serious trouble if done at close range)
