I know I asked in the math/sci thread, but this has to do with programs, and its a fairly urgent question.

I need to solve 9 simultaenous equations, what program can I use?

Also, anyone who does a fair amount of math on their comp/is a math major, any program suggestions?
I'm only in high school though
Try SPSS although the SS at the end stands for Social Sciences so might not be so useful to you.

I always use it for my stats stuff.
Find a nearby university.
Talk to the nerdiest mathematics student you can find.
Make friends with him.
Ask him to help you with this.
Keep him as your friend.
??? Fund: cba to keep up with it.
will at least try when I get a jerb

Can't you just eliminate one variable at a time, as you would with ordinary simultaneous equations?
We use MatLAB at Uni. Bit of a pain to get around sometimes but does the job once you learn how to use it properly. Might be a bit of an overkill for just solving simultaneous equations though..
