you would be better off getting the les paul traditional as the slash signature is very rare and you can only get them used
#6
standard...who the hell wants a guitar with someone elses name on it...just shows its not yours
#8
i thought it was a crap idea for the signature to have slash's skull design on the headstock. i personally love slash but as ppl said you dnt want his name on it. at least on his previous signatures just the truss cover had his name on it which would of been alot better.

and to the guy that said the slash signature is rare and can only get them used, my local shops sells it so yeh not used haha

with any sig guitar, ur paying for way more than ur getting. u can always get a basic model and customize it as close as u can at a fraction of the cost.

traditional

Well then neither of those guitars will work for you... they both have Mr. Paul's name on them.

Off the top of my head I don't know the differences between the two guitars, but I lean toward the Traditional just because I'm not a huge Slash fan.

If you can play both of them though and are set on getting one then get the one that feels better. Might be tough to choose, especially if they're both great guitars..

Traditional, they're sexy and great sounding.

point taken

in that case neither are fenders

obviously i presume everyone knew what i meant

I actually really like the Slash Les Paul. If you're onstage most people aren't going notice the difference between that and another Les Paul. Yes, it is a signature, but it isn't as obvious as say the Synester Gates custom.

But Fender has Leo Fenders name on it

I"m a huge slash fan but I'd still suggest the Traditional. I never buy sig guitars unless there's something about them I really like (Like the inlays on the Jem or something).
Breaking stereotypes by playing indie on a metal guitar.

- Crappy Strat Copy (Redecorated, looks snazzy)

You bastard, how the **** did you read my mind with the exact words that I was going to use

Which Slash model are we talking about? There are several.

However, unless you're talking about the Custom Shop Slash model, I'd say the Traditional.
Yes, I know everything. No, I can't play worth a damn.

Les Paul Traditional all the way. It has much better features (coil tapping, locking tuners, not chambered) and sounds much better. With signature models, you are only paying for the name on the headstock.

Depends on what you prefer.
