I used to change the strings on my guitar in one way, but my tuning = FAIL. When a luthier checked my intonation and restrung it his own way, it kept in tune again. Got any good vids/tutorials?

Most importantly, are you stretching your strings properly?


Some kind of solid lock at the tuning post is useful too. With my vintage-style tuners ( the type with a hole down the middle) I do a sort of Z-bend to firmly anchor the upper strings, like this:
