This thing is very clean, especially for a 40+ year old amp.

That was my first thought. That thing looks almost mint.

That's nice Ming.

Like all your other NxD's.

I'd love to hear some clips if your up for it once you get a cab. What are you thinking of cab wise?

That is a pretty rare amp you got a hold of. How much?

Caliente damninito! *cookie for reference..*

Anyways. Hot damn, that is one sexy amp... Bet it sounds gorgeous.

I'd go with the Vox cab. There's just that really nice old school, high class style that goes along with Vox, and I think the Orange cab would throw some of the amp's mojo away.

That and I love how the old Super Beatle stacks looked.

How do you say "I'm okay" to an answering machine?

A TGP forum member has a friend, who is selling a Super Berkeley III cab and stand. Just waiting to hear back how much he wants for it.

This amp sounds really good. I'm not saying that it's the greatest, or anything like that. Far from it. It's just getting these tones that I've been hunting for years. Really satisfying.

Congrats ming, that thing looks balling. Someone took very good care of that amp over the years. You scored.
I wondered why the frisbee was getting bigger, then it hit me.

I was thinking the same thing. Either they were a bedroom wanker, like myself, or it was in a closet it's whole life.

I want to use and abuse this thing.

Ugghhh... I need a proper cab. I'm using a no name cab with a no name speaker. While it sounds alright. I know pairing this with some nice speakers would do it right.

Mid 60's, Vox started to make a lot of transistor amps. The AC30 even had a non-tube transister version.

The Stones and Beatles used some ss Vox amps.

Do a quick search on Google.

IIRC, the Beatles used the Super Beatle quite a bit on Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.
