...or past songs by the same artist.

Searchbar = nothing

For instance, there's a Beatles song where, at the end, the re-iterate the chorus from "She Loves You".
Example:
1:40 of The Great Awakening is exactly the same as 1:23 of Spay Me . Both songs by Say Anything.

Songs that take cuts from other songs (not like sampling).

For example, the last part of this song is a direct reference to this song .

_E_D_I_T_: It doesn't count if its meant to sound like another song on the same album (ie. Pink Floyd's Another Brick in the Wall Pts 1 2 and 3)

This isn't about stealing, but blatantly obvious homages.
Currently Looking For:
NES: Zelda (Gold Cart), Metroid, Ninja Turtles Series
N64: Mario 64, Majora's Mask, Harvest Moon

"Baby Blue" by The Early November has a line from "No Love" by the Get Up Kids

Edit: Do both songs have to be by the same artist? If so Coheed and Cambria do that in some of their songs

"Who Can Say" by The Horrors uses lyrics from a 1960's song called "She Cried" (can't remember the artists) as a spoken bit during the bridge.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yNjcSgU0Nrg

At about 2:05

And on "Ole Black And Blue Eyes" by The Fratellis, they reference a few songs from the album that it's on, Costello Music, like "Chelsea Dagger", and I think there might be a reference to "Vince The Loveable Stoner", I'll have to listen to it again.

No, it's just more peculiar that way.

Like in my example, the first song was from the band's EP, while the second was from their latest (3-4 albums later) CD.

"Ash to Ash,
Dust to Dust
Fade to Black"

Don't know if its on purpose or not though.

The song 'California Songs' makes reference to many songs about California (and how they get annoying after a while i suppose)

The one that sticks out the most in my memory is 'California Dreamin' (by the Mamas and the Papas)

I'll try and think of some that ARENT Local H, haha

Brand New's "Seventy Times 7" and Taking Back Sunday's "There's No 'I' In Team" have the same lyrics:

Brand New:
"Is that what you call tact?
You're as subtle as a brick in the small of my back,
So let's end this call, and end this conversation."

Taking Back Sunday:
"Is that what you call tact?
I swear, you're subtle as a brick in the small of my back,
So let's end this call, and end this conversation."

I'd thought it was something like Adam's girlfriend cheated on him with Jesse.
Which, admittedly, could be the same incident.
