You know how when an English person does an impression of, say, an Italian or a Chinese person, people just make sounds which they consider to be how they hear the language, because they don't actually understand the language at all.

What does it sound like when they do us?

So what sounds and accent does a non-English speaker make when they impersonate the English.

Any clips on the web?

C'mon, man. We're just kidding. We all know that drummers are important.

After all, without drummers, who would bag my groceries?

"tres cool guy is in dahh hausss!"

Heard it before, it's hilarious.

sounds like they know some English words there though.
I can do a (perhaps a tad racist) impression of a Chinese guy and people would recognize it as that, and I know not a word of Chinese.

I've seen Brazilian people do it before but they do it very badly, sounds more like a chinese impression really.

When I go to Brazil they come up to me and say "Hey Americano I speak-ee da english-ee" (they tend to put the ee sound at the end of most english words)

But one time, he accidentally said "I'm gay!" in japanese. (well, sort of.)

lulz ensued.
