No. The ohm load of your cabinet should not be lower in number than the ohm rating of your amplifier. It could cause a major failure in your amp.

It is acceptable to run a head into a cab that has a higher ohm rating than the head.

In your case its no.

Cab less than head = NO

Cab more than head = Yes

You can do it if you feel like blowing out the output section of the amplifier.
