hey, so i've been playing guitar for a while, but ive come to realize that my barre chords are pretty weak. usually when i play them ill just do major forms which sound great, but as soon as i try to do minor forms the fact that my index finger is weak really shows (cant get sound out of g string and just overall the chord isn't very clean). I know I need to just keep doing them to gradually build up strength, but my question is this... should i be practicing my barre chords on an acoustic or electric guitar?

thanks in advance

it dosnt matter practice is practice if the acoustic has heavier gage strings then it will be harder to fret and hopefully build strength faster
