I have an iPod Touch and I've had it since mid-June.

From time to time, when any given song is playing, the iPod will just stop, reset itself and bring me back to the home screen. This will also happen when I'm on Safari. It happens very sporadically, sometimes it will happen every 10 minutes and sometimes, it won't happen for several days. I've tried restoring it and just about everything I can think of.

Is there anything I can do to cut down on this or somehow stop it from happening so often? Thank you.
Bands I've seen live:

Def Leppard
Alice in Chains
Foo Fighters
Rodrigo y Gabriela
Just take it to the Apple store if you're still within warranty. They'll replace it if something's wrong with it.
update your touch?

go to the genius bar in an apple store. they help you out quite well.

also you are best of asking this in the 'only ipod/itunes help' thread

could have been 3 's but there wasn't nearly enough exclamation marks to emphasize the anger/disbelief

oh yeah
I think I read somewhere that other people are having the same problem after some software update. Rollback? Is that even possible on an iPod touch? I don't have one, so that's all I can think of.
That doesn't happen to me, and my ipod is like 6 months older.
Just like the above users said, take it to the store or update it.
check if there's and update, IIRC there was one released a few days ago.

If not, sync it (for the backup), then restore it from the backup.
You're using UG classic, congratulations.
