Sorry if the thread title is a bit dramatic, but i've just tuned my acoustic to:

e
B
F#
E
B
E

and i'm wondering what songs out there are in this tuning, and which of those do you recommend for me to be learning?

Thanks dudes.

DirtyEdit: Duh.

Looks like a variation of an open e tuning

The song Somethings Missing by John Mayer uses the tuning

Ugh...

When I brought up this page, so much fail dumped out of my computer screen and all over my hands, severely damaging my ability as a musician.

Who do you think you are?!

Thurston Moore?!!?!

And TS, I am now going to try that tuning, because you apparently orgasmed all over the place when you played it, and I wish to do the same.

Try BAGDAD tuning. Sounds like a bomb going off.

I found it to be quite pleasant. Almost like a magic carpet ride.

Open E9

No, it's Open Esus2. Open E9 implies E G# B D F# (the fifth is optional). A ninth chord implies a flat seven and a major second ALONG WITH a major third.
