Hello, GG&A

I play mainly metal such as CoB, Megadeth, and In Flames.
Is the Hot-rodded humbucker set heavy enough for such?
How are there cleans as well?
What else would you suggest? (please no actives bc i like good-sounding cleans as well)

ALSO: I have an Epiphone G-310 and Roland Cube 30x, if that helps

dude, first get a new amp. And don't get blackouts, i hate actives. Megadeth use JB/Jazz and JB/59's, and they have plenty of distortion for any genre of music.

I've looked at it a few times before.

Is the B52 AT112 as good as everyone says?

Would it be possible to get a non-metal amp and run, say, a metal muff through it and still get a good metal sound?

yes but dont go with the muff.

a clean amp (e.g. Fender Tweed, Vox AC) w/ a good Distortion pedal (SD Twin Tube Mayem, Protone Body Rot) or a simulator (Tech 21 SansAmp, AMT Legend Amps) or an MFX (Pod X3) will produce metal tones

Simulator, like a preamp?

EDIT: Oh, you mean like the California and other Tech 21 pedals
