Hi guys, been a while.

I want to tune my guitar in Drop-C, but using normal stringing technique (shown in THIS video) it happens that, expecially in thicker strings, it just doesn't work.
The string goes out of his proper position and it goes out of tune (low).

Does anybody have any tips?

My guitar is a Gibson LesPaul, so the upper mechanics are http://www.accordo.it/upload/1174088609/tre_palette.jpg .

I've tuned down to C standard without any trouble. Buy some heavier strings.

Junior's usually at least a little terse, but he knows his stuff. I've always read his posts in a grouchy grandfather voice, a grouchy grandfather with a huge stiffy for alternate picking.
Besides that, he's right this time. As usual.

what he said. it really shouldnt be a problem
If a mortal stands before us
Strike him down with sleight of hand.
And if heaven rides against us
Then God himself must be damned.

I use skinny top heavy bottom (.10-.52).. But it kinda does not work.

Does anybody have any video that could help me?
