me and my friend do this, its awesome.

search for plan b, he does acoustic rap, a great song by him is charmaine.

also, when we play live, the song that goes down best is our medley of akon- beautiful and number 1 by tinchy strider/n-dubz (capo fret 3, Am, F, C, G for both songs, all the way through)

This is an awesome cover of Usher's "Yeah"; http://www.collegehumor.com/video:1660285

I also like The Root's "The Seed 2.0", which is guitar driven anyway; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cpi2BclUmOU

And another guitar driven rap song is "I was only nineteen" by The Herd (Aussie Rap); http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ns82tHhJOr0&feature=related

On a more serious note, Clint Eastwood by the the Gorillaz would be perfect for you to do. And it pretty much uses two chords the whole song.

Correction, the original by Redgum, was a slow guitar song. The Herd BUTCHERED it and made it rap and non guitar based.

I know it's a cover, but many popular rap songs are.

I don't think it butchered the song, I actually think they stayed true to the spirit of the original which is more than most rap-covers are.

A mate of mine did this, he couldnt rap but it went down a treat. Maybe do some The Roots stuff, that could work well.

I'd personally love to hear the Grave and The Constant by The Fun lovin Criminals

When I was out in Korea for the last year, I'd often grab my acoustic guitar and me and my mate would head out to Hongdae park. Two of the tracks I'd often do there were:

NERD - Lapdance

and

2Pace - Changes

They went down really well, but Changes works BRILLIANTLY as an acoustic song.
