This all seems aliem to me, I've played in bands for years but never gave it any thought, can you guys explain how it's done, how much of a difference it makes, and how to decided if one would compliment another?

Roland Micro Cube

Boss MT-2
MXR Carbon Copy Delay
Dunlop Crybaby Wah
All you really do is A/B two amps that have distinct voices, like a Fender Twin Reverb and a Marshall Plexi. Use the Plexi for it's OD, and use the Fender for sparkling cleans. You can also do it to give a 1 channel amp an extra "channel".
'89 MIJ Fender Strat
Rivera S-120
'60s PEPCO Model 211 5w head
'60s Paul (Pepco) 1x12 tube amp
'60s Harmony H303a 1x10 tube amp
not a bad idea. I've been thinking about getting a Vox AC30 for cleans while using my Maz for teh durrty stuffs
