Stop making multiple threads.

I already gave you a list of amps you should be looking at. Keep your posts in the same thread.

I've had tube amps for a while now, but never actually had any go down on me

maybe you're not saying the right things? an amp likes to know you care.

The JSX has very atriculate gain with lots of gain and compression. Tech death tones are very easy to obtain. As always though, depends who's behind the wheel. But I have no problem getting the heaviest tones with mine.
MARSHALL JVM 210H
PEAVEY JSX

MESA 412

How were they not what you're looking for?

Engl Savage/Fireball/Powerball
Framus Cobra
VHT Deliverance/Sig:X/Pitbull
Peavey 5150/6505

They're all great for what you want and I seriously doubt you've even tried them, so how can they "not be what you're looking for?"

The JSX is alright for technical stuff, it is a lead amp after all, but if you plan on doing metal rhythms with it as well, there's plenty of better stuff out there.

I'm going to close this thread and leave your other thread open. You only need one thread to ask for amp suggestions.

Feel free to call me Kyle.

Just so you know, I read everything you type in a Mike Rowe from Dirty Jobs voice.
