well, friday was. but anyways! i got me a silverface fender deluxe reverb oh lordy, does this thing scream. i run a TS9 into a keeley baked mod TS9 and the result is, well..just take a listen!

some parts are just the ts9, some just the keeley mod, and some parts are both.

If you weren't going to use the high gain of the Mark IV, I would take a DR+TS9 combo over the clean and R2 channel of the Mark IV any day.

that's actually why i got rid of the mark IV. i just didn't play much of the lead channel anymore, and it got to the point where i just blatantly did not use it. don't get me wrong, i think the boogie is one of the greatest amps in the world. but i just love the simplicity of the DR and how PERFECT of a foundation it is for pedals

yes but it didn't really help me. i went to fender's site to find out how to date it, but apparently fender kept no records of these amps during a certain period of time? (that's what the site said). if ya'll can help me out it would be much appreciated.

F093207 was on the back of the chassis on the right side.

thank you Jinskee! good ol' JM is the way to go

and i've narrowed the year down to 79-81. it has the line/out on the back of the chassis, which was added in 79.
