Just because they're not true-bypass doesn't mean they're not good.. They have a decent bypass, no tone-sucking. True-bypass isn't always the best you know. You can't mod them easily, the switches are PCB-mounted.

you have any guide or schematic for them?

ah yes and what MXRs do you recomend?. im lookin at both phaser and Flanger

You probably wouldn't want something like a phaser or a flanger to be true bypass anyway; they'll have buffered outputs which will give the signal a small boost to compensate. Better buffers will hardly colour your tone and are useful to have in a pedal chain, especially a long one.

EDIT: The MXR phaser 90 is a very popular phaser. I believe MXR do an EVH phaser too, although I am not sure what the differences between the standard phaser 90 and the EVH phaser is, other than the paint job.

so if ill buy MXR im safe without true bypass?

anyways... what should i get?
Flanger
- M117R
- EVH Flanger

Phase
-Block Phase 90 (i heard its not that good as the other)
- '74 Vintage Phase 90
- Custom Shop Script Phase 90
- EVH Phase 90

as i said i want the closest to the original (like EVH....)

just get the evh phase 90, it does script and modern all in one with the flick of a switch
as for flangers the regular mxr flanger does van halen fine though i prefer the sound new ibanez af2 flanger

i got the phase 90 script, and it's great, and i approve the ibanez fl9 flanger
the small stone by ehx is also cool, i just didn't like it as much

and unless you have a shtload of pedals, you won't notice that much the buffering, especially if it's good. i got 15 pedals on my board, and the only tone sucking ones are a digitech and a boss (although i noticed recently that they do suck an awful lot of tone)

yeah guys... note that i would like the agressive sound Flange.... thats y i chose MXR... and i think the EVH can do better than the normal one cause its said to be more aggresive
