Right, because of a fuck up of my laptops HDD in August I lost all my files, including the mp3s I'd recorded. It hasn't really bothered me until now 'cause I want my mp3 files back to record over. Is there any way for me to get the files back?
Thanks.

You would record from the stereo mix, not the mic. So the quality wouldn't be too bad. Of course having the original mp3s would still be preferable.
