Hi guys, Im looking into buying the nice and affordable Marshall, the MA series. Would this be suitable for hard/classic/heavy rock? Please let me know your opinions etc. and which cab it would be best suited to?

Thanks guys!

This correlation is bad and you should feel bad for making it.

The MA sounds good for hard/classic/heavy rock from the demos, but considering they're not out yet, who knows just how good they'll be?

The fact that it has tubes negates the main negatives of the MG. So no. Your analogy is stupid.

I hope the speculated prices aren't true. Because $1000 for a tube head is NOT affordable for a entry level tube head, especially with Bugera and the ValveKing there too.

i heard it was gonna be well under 1k$ for the 100 watt head

I heard yesterday that the head was to be 1k, and the combo being 1300.

It really doesn't matter. Its a modern production Marshall so instantly its going to be overpriced and there will be better choices on the new market - depending on its resale value, it may make a good used buy.

Unless your in the UK
Retail prices over here are looking much friendlier, something along the lines of £600 can't remember the specifics of it though.
