I have a Schecter c-1 Classic, and a boss Gt-10

I like playing all sort of styles, blues, rock, metal, lots of effects, wah, finger picking etc..

I've been looking at getting a used tube amp with an effects loop to run through with the boss gt 10.

what do you guys recommend?

my budget is 400 max

The only time I'll dance is if Nickelback caught fire and no one helped.

^^^ Seconded.

But what effects on the GT-10 are you using?

I'd keep it up front, unless you're only using reverb or delay.

i use just about everything on it including reverb and delay, i have around 40 patches.

by keeping it up front im assuming you mean turning off the preamp models on the gt 10 and not using the effects loop?

i suppose thats a good idea since its a good amp. definitely prefer running the fx loop on my current Marshall mg250 which im selling...

thx for the responses ill try that amp out once i sell the marshall

Yes, I mean keeping out of the FX loop.

There's no hard and fast rules here, you never know, sometimes a pedal (or effect) sounds better up front or through the loop.

The Classic 30 is one of those "bang for the buck" models, great sounds.

Good entry into the world of real tube tone.

Used Peavey Classic 30 or new Bugera V22.
If you're using distortion, put it in front of the amp. (you shouldn lt need to)
if you're using mostly modulation, I'd put it in the FX loop.

-Gibson LP VM
-Silvertone Kentucky Blue
-MXR CC Delay
-Ibanez TS-9
-Egnater Rebel 20
-Avatar 1x12

My rig is simple
Haha. UG's Chuck just said chuck. haha
You're not truly playing guitar unless you know theory.
