Those were also the days where some dudes could start their own country (mostly) because they didn't wanna pay their taxes. You just really can't get away with that nowadays, it's a different time with different standards. Along with standards of terrorism.

Also yeah, saying "Our" in the thread title as if it pertained to everyone was not smart.

hahahahhahah this gave me a kick, these are federal agents indoctiring people that our founding fathers are terrorist, hell if george washington was a terrorist, anyone can be a terrorist.

It's true. From a certain point of view, just like it's true that Darth Vader killed Luke's father.

the word terrorism is retarded if you ask me.

what the hell does it mean, violence?

anything can be considered terrorism, even random acts of violence, its a funny word really.

the word terrorism is just a political tool used to take our rights away if you ask me.

Well techincally it's true. I mean any revolutionary was a terrorist to the opposing side. They used violence to get what they wanted. Terrorists.
Due what you want as long as you vote Due!

They need to go ahead and get rid of the words "terrorism" and "terrorist." After seeing that, I realize that they now have absolutely no meaning.

Well, "technically" no. Terrorists target their violence at civilians. Guerrillas killing soldiers and key political figures aren't supposed to be called terrorists. At least that's how it was in the world of military and political science until about 8 years ago when everyone decided that we can just use the term to mean whatever the hell we happen to be mad at.

Haha... You know whats funny, he never mentioned George Bush who basically "signed death warrants, if you will" for members of the Taliban and Al-Qaeda during the start of the war in Afghanistan/Iraq... By his standards that would make G.W. a terrorist too. But I bet he don't think that either cause he's one of those steadfast Republican idiots who thinks Bush was the greatest thing to happen to this country since Billy Ray Cyrus...

its funny how in reality, our government has done more harm than any terrorist.

everyday more and more rights are taken away from us to make sure we are secure, and they use the word terrorist to acomplish this. thanks to terrorism, we now have the patriot act.

Most modern states were founded by people who would be labelled "terrorists" today, or who actually met the correct definition of a terrorist.

Terrorism as defined by official U.S. documents is the calculated use of violence or threat of violence, to obtain goals that are political, religious, or ideological instate.

This makes everyone a terrorist.
