I think there's a band in Canada around Montreal called Authors.

You guys are pretty good but your name font looks too much like Defeater.

you guys are pretty good but stop listening to the carrier so much hahah. the first song is very close to being a carrier song and you even use the same octave line they use in one of their songs.

First of all, I enjoy deathcore for it's complexity and it's the only genre heavy enough for me

I want an amp good for playing hippie tunes. I want it to be an actual amp, not a tube amp.

Hahah see the tough thing about being influenced by the carrier is that there isn't many bands that sound like them musically.... If I took more influence from more generic hardcore bands no one would say anything.

We will come into our own sorta sound as time goes on I hope.

Thanks to the people that enjoyed it.

honestly i would rather listen to a carrier rip off band than most hardcore so im not saying stop what your doing. and you are right you will develop your own style over time.

well I personally don't think the second songs sounds like the carrier at all... the first song was definitely heavily influenced by the carrier though. I think the octave run is what pushes it over the edge. I may change that for the 6 track demo we are putting out in a few months.
