So i wanna learn hybrid picking, but have no clue whatsoever as to what songs to start practising. could you guys recommend me a few easy ones for starters/ some bands that use this technique?

thanks in advance.

Btw. musical styles doesn't matter as long as it´s got to do with hybrid picking.

Real by Bumblefoot lol.

But seriously, I can't really think of my examples of hybrid picking. Just play 2 notes of a chord on strings that aren't adjacent. Then move onto more chords and then play with more than 2 notes. So instead of playing a G, play something like

e|--
B|--
G|-0
D|--
A|--
E|-3

and then build it up to something like

e|-3
B|--
G|-0
D|-0
A|--
E|-3

Junior's usually at least a little terse, but he knows his stuff. I've always read his posts in a grouchy grandfather voice, a grouchy grandfather with a huge stiffy for alternate picking.
Besides that, he's right this time. As usual.
