I dont have any of this but asking.
Say if i have an effects unit like a Line 6 Pod and a cab. Would i be able to use like a power amp to power this without having to use a head or do i need more then that?

It would work. You'd be using the Pod as a preamp. so it's a lot like a pre/power amp setup.

Im looking for a new amp so its just an idea. Im going to try amps,effects and everything i can get my hands on, so its an idea.

I think it would only work as a preamp, not a poweramp, you need something to power the cab, if the cab could power its self then it would work tho

yes, you need a standalone power amp. i know mesa and marshall do rack pwer amps. i don't really know about any other ones, but i'm there are others
