I think it would be funny if a band like Protest the Hero or Between the Buried and Me played an mtv unplugged show. It would pretty much be impossible, and then there would be hardcore screaming over acoustic guitars. Who else do you think would fail at an mtv unplugged show?

I also think it would be interesting if Attack Attack did one. They could use a regular piano for all their synth parts. That might be kinda cool.

Well, they'd obviously re-adapt the songs. I've heard some acoustic arrangements of fast punk songs that turned out quite well, even if they were completely different.

It's not just the same thing with acoustic guitars and without drums.

Also, I think unplugged is a stupid name because they have just as much stuff plugged in.

Korn already did.

I honestly think those two bands TS mentioned would be able to pull it off. Specially BTBAM their singer is incredibly versatile.

btbam was a bad example. you realize that btbam are really good at non distored parts. the transition would be easy for them. also, on the new cd, they just released an acoustic track so....

Megadeth would be dire IMO.

I'd love to see Guns N' Roses do a full acoustic set, I reckon it'd be awesome.

About 9/10 bands that I listen to couldn't do an unplugged set. Some interesting ones would be: The Black Dahlia Murder, Dethklok, The Fall of Troy and Gallows

I have a feeling that TFOT could pull something off like this well. Especially since their new album has more singing.

A couple acoustic songs doesnt mean they could pull off an Unplugged Show, usually unplugged is when bands take their songs and play them without all the effects and stuff, just pure basics. You know what I'm sayin?
