Anyone suggest a good PS1 emulator that works on vista and a place to download Final Fantasy 9. Call me sad if you want but it's one of the best games I have ever played.

Well, a PS emulator uses your CDROM drive to read the disc, so getting an emulator isn't going to help you. Sorry, pal.

ePSXe version 1.6
Video plugin : Petes openGL driver 1.76
Sound plugin : Pete's DSound Audio Driver 1.15
CdRom : ePSXe CDR WNT/W2K core 1.5.2.
Bios : scph7502 (or whatever you want)

That's what I use and it works like a charm.

The disc version of FF9 doesn't run though because of protection. Try download it at romhuslter.com (you need winrar because you download it in sperate 40mb bits from that site and then put them together. It's the easiest way i find.)

I ran it on PSXemu without a problem. Same with FFVIII.

Let Me Google That For You

But really, you might want to consider just buying the actual console, they are so cheap now.

EDIT: Sorry, didn't see your post that you already have a PS1. Yeah, I bet that game is expensive.
Need a website? I can make you one for pretty cheap.
