Thought I'd move this to its own thread:

Well I got my amp yesterday but no cab, but one trip to andertons sorted that out

A blackstar! and its not an HT-5 woopt!

I bought this baby;

Woopt!

4, 8 or 16 ohm

And a bit about the cab, I went to Anderton's today to try out some cabs;

I tried this, a Cornford V30 Cab and a Recto Standard Cab. My opinions were that the cornford has awesome crispness and clarity but was fairly bright, the recto sounded good but not £900 good! Out of the three the blackstar had the most low end punch (Oversized design I guess) but still retained clarity and as such I bought it then and there and got a 10% discount because it was on display

A proper review of my Framus dragon will be coming shortly, I got mess around for a bit this evening and so far:

The clean sounds absolutely fantastic

The Crunch channel boosted ****ing owns.

As far as the lead It sounds a lot fizzier and more compressed to me but needs to be tweaked.

This was all at low volume mind so it would probably get better turned up.

And I'll post clips very shortly.

JJ tubes will help you get rid of that fizz you detect

Tasty ass clip, though! Can't believe that's the Dragon with everything at noon!
Then there's this band called Slice The Cake...

Bunch of faggots putting random riffs together and calling it "progressive" deathcore.
Stupid name.
Probably picked "for teh lulz"

The cab was £579 but I got 10% off because it was on display and some marks where a head had been on top. So I paid £529 inc. a speaker cable.

It doesn't quite sound as exactly as how I remember. Maybe the cabinet has made a bigger impact than expected.

Still sounds great.
