You've probably heard this before, close the thread or whatever if you did. But I've been having some major troubles with my amp.
Its a used Laney LC30, I just bought it off Ebay. (It has a H/H invader speaker, so I think that means it'd a few years old.) It looks just like new, the owner just had it collecting dust.
When I turn the volume to about four, (Way too loud for my room) after about thirty seconds of playing, it crackles and then stops. It might start playing again, but I just turn the volume down on my guitar and turn the amp off. This has happened three or four times, and I don't want to play it loud/jam with it because I may break something. This only happens when I turn the amp volume past three and a half. Below that, I can play all day.

it may need a good cleaning. Try cleaning the pots and see what that does

Do you need a professional to do that? Sorry I'm a big noob at this kind of stuff.
