hey guys.

im getting new active pickups: seymour duncan Blackouts (AHB-1's) and was wondering if routing (for battery), wireing and mounting the pick ups is hard?
as in can i do it myself, im very good with power tools and guitar work or is it 'really' somthing a guitar tech needs to do? cheers

What guitar is it? You should be able to get a battery into the existing electronics control cavity.

If the cavity is the same as the one in this pic you should be able to fit a 9V battery in there.

Take the cavity cover off and try.
