I'm pissed because I don't have Sky Sports.
I'm also pissed because I think they're cutting the Cardinals game off short tonight on five.

While rugby has no padding, people generally get hit harder in the NFL. I'd say it's about even in the manliness/coolness factors.

Here's to hoping the Bucks win, even though it's totally hopeless.

rugby is nfl on speed

NFL is 10 minutes of waiting for one play, 10-20 seconds of action, ten minutes waiting to decide if the play was good.

Nice.

Q: OK, so do you care about the labels — nastiest, edgiest team in the NFL?

Jim Schwartz: It's better than the alternative — meekest, least aggressive, softest team in the NFL.

who cares? it's our sport. i've been opposed to the wembley game since the first one. it's wrong, wrong, wrong. american season ticket holders are being cheated out of a game. all for the sake of expansion.

it's the NATIONAL football league. let's keep it that way.

also, no football teams in los angeles. unless it's the rams.

teams only have 1 minute between plays and they plays are quick because of how fast they are.

edit: i agree with above. its kind pointless, it will never catch on in the uk because most refuse to accept it. oh well, more for us.

american football player used to get stomped on the head, we were just smart enough to wear helmets

commonsensedit: whats the point in arguing over this? rugby and american football are two different sports, the only things they have in common is an oblong shaped ball, tackles, a field and the occasional kicking of the ball.

I'm English and a big NFL fan. But playing games over here is stupid, having the superbowl here one day is a ludicrous idea and having a london franchise will never work/happen.
#29
im not watching it im watching the steelers vikings game.

i dont know anyone who likes american football, but ive always loved it since i played madden 93

also i think you americans find the differences between britain, the uk and england very confusing.

Lol at the dumbasses who think the pads are for protection. Those things are weapons. They allow the players to hit with MUCH more force than they would without them.

I think the main problem with the UK and NFL, is the fact that you've went and named it Football. When feet are rarely used, and you're the only country to decide real football had to be named soccer.

But it also doesn't hurt as much because you're wearing pads. It's a pathetic argument.

No. The pads soften the impact. Yes, the person tackling can tackle harder, but the other person is also wearing pads.

Yes you can, which is why I said it's a pathetic argument. They tackle the same as rugby because they're both equal. Pad on pad is the same as skin on skin because you automatically make the adjustment in power depending on what you're wearing.

well the force that hits the pads spread the force all over unlike in rugby where all the force is where the player is hit hense more rib injuries in rugby

also if you wernt wearing helemets i doubt you will tackle like that instead of geating your helmet involved you will use your shoulder like in rugby also in rugby there are more tackles per game than in hand egg ball
