So I've been playing the didgeridoo for the past couple of months and I'm looking for some bands/players that I could listen to, to expand my knowledge.

I already know of Oka and Xavier Rudd (saw them both live at a festival), and both are amazing! I didn't really get much from google...

Anything would be appreciated
danke!

Try David Hudson's album Yigi, Yigi. You can actually groove to it a little.

From what i saw i can agree with that...we thought he was on later then he actually was, so we only got to see two songs out of his set...still worth the long walk from the camp grounds though!

Oh, hello. Is there a group available for didge players? If there is, I am interested in joining it so people know that I play this magical instrument. Thanks!

Just bought a 12 string...I can't wait to break it in the right way, along with my djembe. I have a didgeridoo, but just started, so I'm not quite that good yet...I'm ready for a good ol' fashion jam sesh on Pope's Hill.

Man I still remember having those 15+ person drum jams at popes hill... SOO GOOD!

I was so sad to leave

^ Also practice with the djembe + didgeridoo. it's hard, but great

I also enjoyed the man that was getting pulled around the camp in his wagon soloing on his drum kit, then later riding down the hill in it. So much destruction, but yet oh so funny...and ya definatly, the last day was a sad day to all festival goers, but there's always next year haha.

so what kind of wood are your didgeridoo's made out of? mine is bamboo

I actually have one pretty nice plastic one. and I picked up a piece of PVC piping which i'm gonna make into one with bees wax and a hot air gun...

But I'm looking into getting a bamboo

edit: I actually played that drum set for like 5 minutes on the last night at the castles. Then socalled came and jamed for like 10 minutes.. it was so good
