One part of a series of songs based somewhat on the same story. Might turn into a concept album eventually, I don't know. Oh, and english is not my first language so if there are any big grammatical errors please let me know, ok?

In the north, within the mist
There lives a man with nothing left to loose
Empty shelfs, and solitude
He seek lies but ends up with the truth

He burns the books, with plenty more
Reasons than staying warm throughout the night
In his mind, ignorance is bliss
What he does not face he must not fight

And when the leaves will loose their grip and cover up the mound,
underneath the maple tree where love will lay unfound,
The snow will get a steady base and if you'd look you'd see a face
Cydonia

He's been alone, for two years now
Her lungs turned into vessels filled with ice
The time had come, she knew it too
Her iron will alone did not suffice

And when the leaves will loose their grip and cover up the mound,
underneath the maple tree where love will lay unfound,
The snow will get a steady base and if you'd look you'd see a face
Cydonia

He cried himself, to sleep again
In the corner of his empty shack
His wrinkled face, guides his tears
His eyelids closed and turned the cabin black

Ths first stanza seems kind of awkward, might be that the rhyme scheme doesn't fit the rest. The last line in the second stanza: might want to change it to can not instead of must not, doesnt really make sense, and I think you mean guided instead of guides, but overall a great job. I really liked it.
