I'm really curious where the best places are pit I guess some places in NYC come to mind but where are the best places to find bands and do the generes differ from place to place?

i just realized that a lot of post-hardcore bands are welsh (ex. funeral for a friend, lostprophets).

Yeah. It's a very unique scene, much different from the stuff I usually listen to but still awesome. I try to go atleast once a year just to hang out for a few days.
